Workplace Respect is built on the belief that change requires more than just awareness.
Who we are
Co-Directors Kat Baulch, Jacque Lachmund and Matt Pronger bring together over 50 years of combined experience across social work, leadership, domestic and family violence, and systems change.
Blending lived experience, deep practice wisdom, and evidence-based approaches, we deliver services that are practical, authentic, and impactful.
Workplace Respect is built on the belief that change requires more than just awareness. It takes a parallel focus – supporting both the people and the systems.
We’re here to help workplaces lean into the courageous conversations needed to build cultures that are safe, inclusive and respectful.
At Workplace Respect, we know that real change happens when the right facilitator meets the right need. That’s why we’ve built a diverse team with varied styles, passions, and expertise – ensuring we match your workplace with the support that fits best.
We provide integrated workplace support including:
- Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) training
- Respect@Work Training
- Sexual Harassment Training
- Policy and Procedure development or Review
- Guest speaking, webinars, face-to-face and online training
- Strategies to meet Respect@Work and DFV Legislative requirement
- Resilient workplace development
- Trauma-informed, person-centred approaches
We’ll walk beside you, challenge your thinking, support your growth – and occasionally call out the elephant in the boardroom. Because respect at work isn’t a day. It’s a daily practice.
Our Vision, Mission and Values
Vision
- We believe in workplaces where respect isn't just a slogan – it's the standard.
- We're here for the change makers, the brave leaders, the quietly curious and the teams who want more than box-ticking and cupcake days.
- We’re about bold cultural shifts, not performative gestures.
- Together, we’ll create workplaces that actually thrive – with heart, with honesty, and with a bit of grit.
Mission
We exist to make workplace respect real – not just written.
We bring:
- Practical, trauma-informed solutions that actually work and go beyond basic compliance to create Respect@Work.
- Tools, training, and truth-telling (even when it’s uncomfortable).
- Support that sticks – real sustainable change, not flash-in-the-pan fixes.
- A serious commitment to equity, inclusion and behaviour change – minus the corporate jargon.
- A deep belief in hope and accountability co-existing across all organisational levels.
- A no-nonsense promise to go way beyond tokenistic gestures. (Sorry, cupcakes. You’re cute, but not cutting it.)
Values
🫶
Real Respect
We don’t do lip service. We embody respect – in every conversation, every space, and every decision.
🌈
Radically Inclusive
We value and are guided by all voices, especially the ones who’ve historically been ignored. Lived experience matters and everyone belongs.
🛠️
Courageously Practical
We sit in the messy, human stuff. We roll up our sleeves and meet you at your starting point. We work through discomfort. That’s where the magic happens.
💡
Brave Curiosity
We ask the hard questions. We challenge gently. We learn constantly. And we’re not afraid of a little vulnerability along the way.
💬
Safe to Speak Up
We create spaces where people can show up fully – and be met with dignity, openness and curiosity.
