Our Team

Co-Directors Kat Baulch, Jacque Lachmund and Matt Pronger bring more than 50 years of combined experience across social work, leadership, domestic and family violence, and systems change.

Grounded in lived experience, practice expertise and evidence-informed approaches, we deliver services that are practical, credible and designed to create meaningful impact.

Kat Baulch

Co-Director

Kat is first and foremost a Social Worker (BA) who has built on her approach with a paediatric, trauma-informed lens; has diversified her skillset through a Master’s degree in Management; and is an outstanding trainer in her own right. Kat has worked in a variety of roles across Australia and overseas delivering training, walking alongside of families who have experienced domestic and family violence and is skilled at developing materials to create respectful workplaces.

Matt Pronger

Co-Director

Additional training and qualifications in pre-marriage counselling, Gottman level 2 Couple counselling, Colour Spectrums, Common Approach Training, Mens Behaviour Change, Rise up Clinical Supervision and Outcome Star.”

Matt is a qualified social worker, family dispute resolution practitioner and experienced group facilitator with more than 17 years’ experience across domestic and family violence (DFV), men’s behaviour change and workplace culture transformation.

Over the past decade, Matt has led the delivery of more than 3,000 hours of workplace DFV and Respect at Work training, reaching over 20,000 participants across public and private sectors.

His work spans government, mining, construction, accountancy and legal environments, supporting organisations to strengthen their capability, maturity and confidence in responding to the impacts of domestic and family violence. He has also coordinated the development and delivery of industry-leading eLearning programs and perpetrator-focused workplace resources.

Matt is deeply committed to supporting workplaces to drive meaningful cultural change through best-practice policy, training and practical resources that centre safety, accountability and care for all those affected by DFV or Sexual Harassment.

Alongside his workplace practice, Matt continues to work directly with individuals and families in one-to-one and group settings. He has also delivered school-based domestic and family violence and sexual assault prevention programs for young people. A significant focus of his work has been supporting fathers from diverse backgrounds to explore identity, responsibility and growth through strengthened communication, parenting skills and personal development. This work has given Matt a nuanced understanding of the complex factors that contribute to family breakdown and violence.

Matt is a proud ally of the LGBTIQ+ community and has worked clinically with individuals and couples, delivered education in school settings, and collaborated on the development of inclusive resources addressing domestic and family violence and barriers to support.

Outside of his professional work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and three children — often at the beach, on the water, fishing, or riding his dirt bike. He is deeply committed to the belief that everyone has the right to feel safe, respected and supported at work, at home and in the community

Jacque Lachmund

Jacque is a survivor of domestic and family violence, a champion for change and brings a lived workplace experience to the table. Jacque has gained in-depth knowledge and experience in workplace prevention and is passionate about supporting workplaces and communities to be part of the change. Jacque is deeply passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and draws upon her prior experience as a CEO, expert facilitator and having worked in the refuge sector

Placing a strong value on equity across gender, accessibility to support services and prevention strategies to minimise harm; Jacque approach foster’s diversity and inclusion. As an innovative professional, Jacque is solutions-oriented and works collaboratively with workplaces to embed sustainable strategies to create cultural change.

Jacque has well-developed communication and rapport-building strengths and is skilled and experienced in public speaking. Jacque has been invited to speak at corporate, Government and community events across Australia to increase awareness and education about DFV through the lens of a survivor.

Jacque brings to the table extensive experience developing and delivering workplace domestic and family violence programs to both the public sector and private organisations. Jacque has a breadth of expertise in facilitating adult learning and program management with training/upskilling workplace representatives’ knowledge and capacity.

Jacque is dedicated to educating and supporting businesses to make workplaces safer environments, where conversations about domestic and family violence can take place, without creating further stigma, shame, and fear.

Jacque is a mother, a grandmother of 4 and spends her time outside of work making memories with family, friends and loved ones.
